The Arabic Bribes' Song, a Timless Creed



Egyptian singer/actor/composer Ali Al Hajjar has made about a million song throughout his very long career in Egypt. To go to guy for dramatic songs and songs about Egypt has a winner song. In light of the Egyptian protests, this older song of his comes to mind. As more Egyptians were protesting corruption in their government.

Ali did not write this song someone else did, but it's a very true to life pictures of how things are done in Egypt. the only reason this son was approved for appearing in this TV drama is becasue it takes place in the past of Egypt, the old days Egypt. Jamal Bikheet wrote the lyrics.

The song it set up by a young man expressing his frustration for not being able to get required power of authority document approved, the middle man who is helping him get to the corrupted official to stamp the document wants a bribe of his own, so it's a web of corrupt officials. Ali Al Hajjar busts out his lute and delivers this song.
