1993 At the Airport with Angham

Arabs immigrate to different country in pursuit of a better life and more freedom. So songs about farewell and departure leaving the loved ones behind is always painful, but that's why they wrote some of the best songs about homesickness, and walking away from all of it....

Angham had this song in 1993 in an album titled Ella Ana, "Except Me", the song about standing at the airport gate with her boy who is about to take off leaving a ring on her finger to keep the other boys away. The song describes all those painful moments right before the take off and right before you know if that person will be coming back or not.

As someone who lives away from home and the loves one, I get all those feelings Angham brings to life here, she nails this one. For the record the same album has a song titled, ""
Travel luggage dealing with a similar theme.
