Father and son join forces to bring us an English song as they seem to have conquered the world of Arabic song. Together they have recorded this song and made it their own at least with the music portion. The English leaves something to be desired, but their vocals do the trick.
"You Raise Me Up" is an original song by the Secret Garden, but the music you hear has been adapted to an Easter melody by Ali El Haggar who joins his son in performing the song. It might have been made about a father who raises up a son, or about a lover who loans his shoulder.
Either way this is a fresh take on the song, and the collaboration takes a new meaning with the family joining forces for this classic.
